Laura Coker in association with the Whitefire Theatre and the Dramatic Question Theatre presents the World Premiere of FIREHOUSE by award-winning playwright, Pedro Antonio Garcia, directed by Bryan Rasmussen, consulting producer Academy Award Winner Robert ‘Bobby’ Moresco (co-writer CRASH).
Based on a true story, honor and loyalty clash with ‘doing the right thing’ in a south Bronx firehouse when a rookie fireman saves a fellow firefighter instead of a 12 year-old girl also in the building, who dies as a result. The community is outraged and comes to a boiling point in this intense drama where race, the code of honor, and love all play a part.
Firehouse stars Dave Baez (Miss Match, Dexter), Jossara Jinaro (Passions, The Devil’s Rejects), Nick Stabile (Saints & Sinners), Maurice Compte (Breaking Bad), Ed Morrone, Bryan Rasmussen and Jon Southwell.
The play has already been cited by some of the industry’s elite as one of the best theatrical pieces currently being performed.
